1. Who we are
The Inner Architect is a personal journalling application operated by an individual based in New Delhi, India. The app is accessible at innerarchitect.in and mj-pink-phi.vercel.app. For questions, write to stays@innerarchitect.in.
2. What you are agreeing to
By creating an account or using The Inner Architect, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. These terms form a binding agreement between you and The Inner Architect under Indian law.
3. The service
The Inner Architect provides a private digital journal with AI-assisted reflection. The app reads your journal entries and generates reflective responses. It is not therapy, counselling, psychiatry, or any form of clinical mental health treatment. Nothing the app produces should be treated as professional advice of any kind.
The AI reflection feature is generative. Responses are produced by large language models and may be imperfect, incomplete, or occasionally incorrect. You are responsible for how you interpret and act on them.
4. Your account
You must provide a valid email address. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure. You may not share your account or use it on behalf of another person without their knowledge. One account per person.
You must be at least 18 years old to use this service.
5. Your content
Everything you write in The Inner Architect belongs to you. We do not claim ownership over your journal entries. We store them to provide the service and for no other purpose.
You grant us a limited licence to process your content solely to provide the journalling and reflection features. This licence ends when you delete your account.
You agree not to use the app to store content that is illegal under Indian law.
6. AI-generated reflections
The mirror feature generates text using AI. This text is not authored by a human. It is not reviewed before it reaches you. It may not always be accurate or appropriate. Use your own judgement. The Inner Architect is not liable for decisions you make based on AI-generated content.
7. Not a crisis service
The Inner Architect is not equipped to handle mental health crises. If you are experiencing thoughts of self-harm, please contact a trained professional immediately. In India: iCall at 9152987821, Vandrevala Foundation at 1860-2662-345, or your nearest hospital emergency department.
8. Availability
We aim to keep the service running but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The service may go down for maintenance, technical issues, or reasons outside our control. We are not liable for losses resulting from downtime.
9. Termination
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. On deletion, your data is permanently removed from our systems within 30 days.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, The Inner Architect and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the service. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim. If you have paid nothing, our liability is nil.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email at the address on your account. Continued use after notification constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Delhi.
